Career Change from Tech to Back Office
I currently work in tech. Am looking into making a career change into IB. I assume back of office, since I dont have the experience and cards are stacked against me. Any advice?
Why do you want to go to back office? These are often just bank operations roles (Accounting, controllers, risk management, compliance). Which is fine, they provide good careers (good WLB, alright pay), but will be similar to any other operations related role.
Depending on experience your easiest path is going to be an MBA.
Just figured it may be easier to go back office. Already have a masters, so not looking to go MBA route.
