Has anyone ever hired a career “coach” or equivalent? Know this sounds like a bad idea, but wondering if there are any good consultant types with good connections that get paid a flat fee by the job seeker over a headhunter that just looks to churn positions / take commissions.
90% of the career counselors I searched for look like a waste of time. Maybe even 99%, but there must be a couple good ones out there. Maybe not…
