Chances of getting a Blackstone summer intership with connection
Hi all,
I'm desperately hoping to land a Blackstone hedge fund solutions summer internship for the Summer 2015. Unfortunately I come from a non target, however still a very selective liberal arts school and only have a 3.4 GPA. However a very close family friend of mine is a senior managing director in the group I am hoping to apply for and would vouch for me. That being said what do you think my chances would be of getting the internship?
Thanks!
He can get you the interview, but it's up to you from there.
Better than average to get to the interview stage then it's up to you 100% to close.
