Changing Resume For Industry Roles?

Former IB M&A analyst here. Looking to get into industry.

I know that the answer to the above is likely a yes, but with my resume as is (ie formatted with deal experience) I feel like like I shouldn't be getting denied for basic FP&A roles before I reach the interview stage.

Its not really a matter of putting in effort here (I already have resumes in both formats), but I feel like laying out my resume in IB format best displays my technical experience.

At this point i'm just trying to determine which one is going to get me more hits. Its more of a question of me wasting applications sending out a resume that I think may be less effective in conveying my experience.

If anyone has experience here, do you think I'd get more hits from sending a more typical resume? Just sticking with the more generic 3 bullet description like for other jobs?

Who knows maybe im just shit.

At this risk of sounding like an entitled little shit, I just thought banking might carry just a little weight despite my resume being slightly different
