Climate finance + Climate tech undergrad school?

Been accepted to Columbia and UC Berkeley EECS for undergrad. I am debating which one might be better to go to for roles in climate finance/climate tech. Columbia has been doing work in this area (first ever grad program in climate finance) but I was also thinking that the SV proximity of Berkeley might be a plus as these fields are fueled very often by startups.

Thank you!

Go to Columbia - smaller student body with more opportunities to into finance. Enough clean energy/startups are happening in NYC that will be available to you way more readily (only competing with NYU in the city most of the time at least for internships that run not in the summer). Also, smaller school = easier to stand out = more looks.

Better choice most likely and can pivot easier as well.
