Cold Emailing AM vs. IB?
Is cold-emailing/calling small AM firms for internships not as feasible as cold-emailing boutique IBs? It seems like there's perhaps less grunt work to pass off to an analyst/intern than there is in IB so I thought they'd be less willing to take on an intern.
Am I right in thinking this? I've been most focused on contacting boutique IBs but looking to expand my search to AM as well.
