Cold Mailing on LinkedIn (London)

Hi,

I've read quite a few posts about Cold Mailing templates and tactics but I presume they were mostly US-based; being an international student from South Asia, I was curious to know if there were any minor things to be mindful of while doing the same in the UK, or ways to amplify the response rate. For context, here's the template I currently use (obviously molded according to each individual):

**Hi >,

Hope you’re doing well in these testing circumstances! I was referred to you by John Doe - a friend who interned with you last summer and is due to start full-time soon - and would love to connect!

I’m about to begin my final year at > and currently seeking opportunities in the Investment Banking industry, particularly in M&A. I’ve previously interned in XYZ’s M&A team and converted it into a full-time return offer but couldn’t accept it due to personal circumstances at the time.

Having worked up close in banking, I appreciate the value of your time and your demanding schedule, but I would be extremely grateful if you could take out 15-20 minutes to quickly chat on a call. I’m excited to get to know you, your experience at >, and how I can break into the industry once again.

Thank you so much for taking the time out to read this!

Best regards,**

Any kind of help/tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!
