College Student Seeking Advice, Would Appreciate Any Help!

My background: I am a rising junior attending a semi target (lower end IVY), studying Finance/Economics and I currently hold a 3.8 GPA. I play a division 1 sport and have aspirations of playing professionally after school. As a result, I decided to take this summer to focus on training rather than working. In addition to training, I am making an effort to find an internship in finance/banking for summer 2024 to fall back on if this season does not yield any pro opportunities. I do not have any prior experience in finance/banking, but I have worked for a real estate property management company for the last two summers, helping manage 160 properties.

My problem: I am late to the search and don't know where to look. Obviously, I missed the IB recruitment window. I would have applied in Jan-Mar but was recovering from a serious head injury, which forced me to fall behind in school and life in general. I am now searching for an opportunity for next summer and am a bit lost about what I should apply for. Obviously, where I should apply will depend on what I am interested in. However, it's hard for me to tell you what I am interested in purely from reading testimonies/descriptions of jobs online. I know some general things I am looking to obtain from my first internship in Finance/Banking. I want to gain a better understanding of the financial services industry so I can decide what area I am passionate about. In addition, I want to gain relevant skills that will serve me well moving forward into whatever job I choose to pursue. Finally, an internship that does not pigeonhole me into a specific industry where there is no lateral mobility. I'll provide some general information about my personal skills. I am good with other people and thrive in a team environment. Analytical thinker who is able to make intellectual rather than emotional decisions. Strong reading comprehension. Am driven to learn and work hard to become successful in any endeavour I am passionate about.

My question: Besides Investment banking, what are other good internships in Finance/Banking that are still a possibility for me to break into?
