CRE Brokerage, Commercial Insurance, Saas? Career advice
Hello everyone I am currently a rising senior in college and this summer I have an internship working in commercial insurance with Marsh. Last summer I worked in commercial real estate investment sales at a small boutique firm. I am a sales guy through and through and want to go the commision route.I found a couple characteristics associated with both industries. Commercial insurance is an "under the radar" industry and isn't as well known. CRE has a lot of competition with brokers all calling the same owners and has a timeline of 3-5 years before actually making real money.I want to know if anyone has experience in either of these industries and has anything to say good or bad about either of them.Additionally:I know nothing about SaaS, just see a lot of people talking about it. In comparison to these industries and my interests is this worth tapping into.
