Creating a Resume

Today was the first day I went to look for an internship at a BB (Merrill Lynch). When I asked them if any spots were available, they replied by telling me I have to come back at the end of the month because they are not look to hire this early, the lady also mentioned that I need to come back with a Resume.

Since I am a HS senior going into college, what do I put on my resume and also what format do I use?

-You can start with jobs that you had during high school -The college you will attend -SAT score -ACT score -EC's in HS -GPA -Community service/Volunteer work

I guess you could try to follow the M&I outline, but it will be hard for a high schooler.

So can I just use my resume that I submitted to colleges? Or does it have to look in a specific format?

I'm in a similar situation; I'm a high school senior too looking for an internship. How are you going about finding one? Just randomly asking if they have any spots available? E-mail? Calling? Also are you looking for paid or unpaid? I saw that a lot of people said it's really hard for a high school student to get an internship.

I just look for BB around my city, so I then enter the building and ask if there are internships. Right now I am going for unpaid because asking for a pay on my first job is impossible. It is hard to get an internship, but not impossible.
