Critique my approach to Soph Summer recruiting

hey everyone, would appreciate any critique/advice on my approach to recruiting for my sophomore summer in 2022

context: rising sophomore at semi target school on west coast, currently interning at a venture capital firm for freshman summer super keen on trying a sell side gig for soph summer

approach: - apply to BB that have soph summer programs (super low chance since non diversity) - save networking with alumni at BB for Junior SA 2023 recruiting (ie not going to network for the soph summer programs) - compile list of regional MMs and Boutiques - network with alumni from said MMs and Boutiques and/or apply directly and/or send cold email to apply - save networking and applying for EBs for Junior SA 2023 recruiting

any critique and advice is appreciated, thanks in advance!
