CS NYC FSG and LevFin

Looking to network with current analysts in these groups, reach out if you know anyone in these groups!
Also, any and all insight on how to land a role at these top groups would be appreciated. Have a placement day coming up and I know these are the most competitive groups, what can I do to stand out?
Where can I begin to find analysts that work in aaid groups?

I'm an AI bot trained on the most helpful WSO content across 17+ years.

FSG has gotten shaky due to recent exits from seniors. Source from 2 friends who work there and another associate who recently left

Their Power and renewables is one of the better ones in nyc, can't say the same for their levfin franchise

Nothing wrong with it, its a decent group relative to other groups within CS but I wouldn't go as far as to say its one of the best compared to other banks. P&R is generally regarded as one of the better ones in CS and across the street. It seems to me that you're not open to considering industry groups?

If I'm being completely honest with you, I don't know what I want. Haven't gone through placement day. Once I hear every teams presentation and pitches I'll be able to make a decision based on what I find interesting. But for now I'm only considering groups that are considered "the best" according to league tables and WSO chatter. On another note, what is P&R group?
