I’m an analyst and it’s been brutal. 1-2 weeks between rounds, ghosting, etc. I’ve seen about 5 associate postings for every analyst posting so I think there’s definitely still demand for your level. No one is really pressed for an A2 at the moment.

 

Will have to say after being in the job market search for two months and then landing an offer, it’s bad. Most BB/EB are hiring associate level or above. We’re seeing VP and MBA’s apply for entry level jobs. Many companies are doing temp work and are scaling back significantly. I think it will get better but the suggestion right now is to try and elevate your designation (study for CFA/GMAT for MBA)
