Current Spring Sophomore getting smoked rn. looking for advice

Just as the title says, I'm a current sophomore at a semi target getting cooked recruiting for summer 2026.  From what I understand, a lot of banks are filling up their positions already and I am worried that its starting to become too late to land anything. I have sophomore gig this summer at a small HF shop where ill be getting some modeling experience but I'm worried that I wont be able to leverage that if recruiting is over by then.

I'm looking to land any finance internship at this point whether its corporate banking, asset management, credit risk, etc. I'm mainly looking for advice on what positions/firms recruit later in the year or if I'm cooked already.
