Worked hard to secure an MBA associate spot only to get laid off less than 3 months on the desk. I get the market is tough right now but still a pretty tough pill to swallow.

Tough luck man, very sorry to hear this….I’m also an mba associate and this is my biggest fear….my mentor at my bank sat me down my first week on the desk and told me this industry doesn’t give a shit about any of us, they’ll cut us in a heartbeat if it makes the bank an extra buck, he told me to keep that network strong because you never know when you’re going to be the one on the chopping block….connect w everyone you can right now and keep your head up, I’m sure it’ll be just a blip in your overall career
