i"m from Singapore and used to work there so hopefully this helps: getting a work permit after after moving there is not an issue ( had a couple of friends from the UK whom did the same thing) Most big commodity firms have a presence there (Cargill, Vitol, Bunge etc)...but it will be tough to break in unless you know someone who will get you an interview (most expats are play rugby there, so if you do it will be a huge networking tool) You can try going there and applying for jobs but the cost of living is high so keep that in mind
