Did I strike out of recruitment?

Currently a second year analyst in a good infra coverage group, deferred recruiting during my entire first year because I was still unsure of what I wanted after banking, but have been speaking with headhunters and interviewing since summer. The issue is, I’ve been getting very few first round interviews, even from firms that I feel very well positioned for (infra / energy focused). Have had a mix of interactions with headhunter calls, some seemed to go very well while others were very cagey and all but refuse to speak to me when I express interest in their opportunities.

Have I burned bridges with these firms? Any way I can get back into a good rapport and start getting more first rounds? Is this just par for the course? Any advice would be much appreciated.
