Do Headhunters recruit from the same teams?
Hi all - I'm currently an analyst at a MM shop - I had a headhunter reach out to me a few weeks ago and have been interviewing with a new firm, which I'm actually pretty excited about.
That being said, I'm fairly certain the other analyst on my team may also be interviewing. I haven't confirmed with them - and don't think I will - but they have meeting invites on their calendar and have been at Drs appts during similar times that I was interviewing.
Is it standard for headhunters to reach out to analysts from the same team? It just makes the whole process feel even more competitive.
