Do interviewers see what demographics you put on your application?
Title says it all. I know investment banking/finance in general is a pretty conservative place. I identify under "other" in the gender portion of job applications. I am afraid a future interviewer will look down upon me, or have preconceived notions about me if they are able to see that I identify as "other". How much info, if any, are interviewers given regarding demographics? Who else in the firm is able to obtain these demographics? I have serious concerns that, even if I do get the job, I will be labelled by my co-workers before I even step foot into the office.
