Does JPM sends HireVue invite to every applicant.
This is the second time in a year that i will be taking HireVue interview. First attempt in last September was terrible. I am pursuing masters which specialize in energy supply and trading. It does cover finance but it has lot of specialized modules in commodities. So my preferences are commodity majors or trading firms but for some reason i can't stop myself applying for a global markets analyst/offcycle roles. I applied for JPM and got an invite after 4 hours. Does JPM invites every applicant? I don't see point of doing a HireVue if my resume didnt pass some sort of screening.
Your resume passed a screening which is why you got the Hirevue. Usually pretty basic screen checking for grad year and gpa if its on there
I didnt put a gpa on my resume. I guess name of previous bank i worked at was a key word. My experience was back office...no key words related to s&t or IBD.
