Does the BoA Finance Management Associate Program offer salary?
Hello everyone,
I'm currently looking into the BoA 2 year FMAP, and was wondering what sort of compensation they offer. I can't find this information anywhere, and it weighs heavily on if I will be able to go through with it. I can't afford to commute to NY everyday for 2 years if I'm making pennies...

i can't tell you for certain, but i did look into it and i'm almost sure it is a salaried position - it's analogous to the 'finance division' programs at other banks
I'm guessing 60k based on my knowledge of the other BoA rotationals

I was offered 60K base, 5K signing bonus in November 2011 for FMAP (start date would be this summer). I tried to negotiate salary, but they told me that all first year FMAP associates were paid 60K and they can't make exceptions. That's what HR said so maybe they just didn't want to pay me more. The base salary might be different if your friend is a second year, has an MBA, or came from their FMAP internship. But 69K base sounds way too high for BofA.
Also, I heard rumors that they are cutting their program from two years to one. Wasn't sure if that is true, can anyone verify?
which location are you? are you in NC or NYC?
NC, so if your friend got an offer for 69K base in NYC that would probably make sense. which sucks because the cost of living up there is so much more expensive. Using a cost of living analysis 60K in Charlotte is equal to 96K in NYC

yep that was in NYC. I dont really think salaries of many first years through these programs are negotiable. So that makes sense.
Can anyone confirm the updated Compensation for this program? Base, sign on, year end bonus? Specifically for NYC.
