Don't understand?

i feel yeah, i have sent out like a million personalized cover letters/resumes/transcripts of a 3.8/4.0 gpa and I only got 1 interview, which didn't work out.

i also applied to non banking jobs and been getting a better response. I am beginning to question if this is even worth it, what gives high gpa, but not a target school. Feels like I should forgo my 10k summer internship money i would get from working and study for the GMAT to get into Princeton's finance program

Adding to the question -- would it be too much to try and call these guys on monday morning?

To be honest you guys may have just got a bad contact and the environment is really competitive. Im a non-target and have had multiple interviews through networking. I would think that even an analyst pushing your resume is not going to guarantee you an interview. Keep plugging along and hopefully something works

honestly this happens sometimes. would follow up but this is exactly why its so important to cast a wide network in hard times like this
