i feel yeah, i have sent out like a million personalized cover letters/resumes/transcripts of a 3.8/4.0 gpa and I only got 1 interview, which didn't work out.
i also applied to non banking jobs and been getting a better response. I am beginning to question if this is even worth it, what gives high gpa, but not a target school. Feels like I should forgo my 10ksummer internship money i would get from working and study for the GMAT to get into Princeton's finance program

Coming from a non-target with no experience, you're not getting into Princeton's MFin.

To be honest you guys may have just got a bad contact and the environment is really competitive. Im a non-target and have had multiple interviews through networking. I would think that even an analyst pushing your resume is not going to guarantee you an interview. Keep plugging along and hopefully something works
i am using my parents connections as well, my uncle wont give me a god dam interview. he is a director in a diff depart of the company (still same building) but wtf, doding my calls and not responding to my emails.

would it make a diff if i had my cfa lvl 1, did some wall st prep courses, and had 2 internships with f500s?
Adding to the question -- would it be too much to try and call these guys on monday morning?
no i would call them and be like what the hell man, i thought you were going to help me.

Okay, anyone else? Perhaps from an industry insider's point of view?
