I suspect that Doostang posts jobs that aren't currently open positions. I found a position posted at a small MM firm's healthcare group that I'm interested in working for. I already know one of the VPs from the group and I asked about position. He said that it's an old position that's long since been filled...
Has anyone else ever caught anything like this?

I agree, with Doostang I tend to see positions that have been previously opened and no longer are. Anyone else have any experience with Doostang?
Service is chock full of shit. In many cases they go to career websites, take postings and try to act as a middleman so they can take a cut. They justify it by advertising all sorts of career planning and resume review services (overpriced BS). They've gotten so bad that they'll take postings where the original posting asks you to email a particular person and they'll remove that persons email address.
I found the same Doostang displays a bunch of new postings that are no longer open
Doostang is awful. They don't filter their posts.
So I shouldn't even bother doing the one-month premium.

Doostang sucks... I recommend sticking to Indeed (the ABSOLUTE BEST - only thing you'll ever need)
