DoW - Office of Strategic Capital Recruiting

Does anyone have good insight into recruiting for the DoW OSC? I know H&S had a mandate on this. Is that the only avenue? I haven’t seen any direct postings on OSC’s site or USA Jobs. Are they still actively recruiting? Is it only DC based or are there offices in NYC and elsewhere?

I have a background as a reservist doing defense tech innovation, 8 years in finance (mostly buy side) and H/S MBA. Any advice on recruiting into the group would be greatly appreciated!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there isn't specific information available about the Department of Defense's Office of Strategic Capital (DoW OSC) recruiting process, office locations, or whether they are actively hiring. Additionally, no direct postings on OSC’s site or USA Jobs are mentioned in the provided context.

Given your background in defense tech innovation, finance, and an H/S MBA, you might consider leveraging your network to connect with individuals who have insight into the OSC or similar organizations. Reaching out to alumni from your MBA program or colleagues in defense-related finance roles could provide valuable leads. If H&S (likely referring to Heidrick & Struggles) has a mandate, they might be a key point of contact for opportunities within the OSC.

If you’re targeting roles in DC or other potential locations like NYC, it’s worth exploring defense-focused consulting firms, government contractors, or private equity firms with a focus on defense and technology, as they might have connections or insights into OSC-related opportunities.
