It's only difficult for business students

"One should recognize reality even when one doesn't like it, indeed, especially when one doesn't like it." - Charlie Munger

Econometrics isn't "impressive", it's an intermediate-level class that practically every econ major in the nation takes. That said, it's very useful and also provides more insight to business statistics. At advanced levels, it also just gets really cool and interesting, haha.

Currently: future neurologist, current psychotherapist Previously: investor relations (top consulting firm), M&A consulting (Big 4), M&A banking (MM)

Definitely not impressive. We had to take it second semester sophomore year.

Sometimes when you bring the thunder... you get lost in the storm.

I guess it depends on where you take it. At my school we had to apply game theory and stat to ECMTRX and it wasn't very rewarding.

Here to learn and hopefully pass on some knowledge as well. SB if I helped.

Just do your homework and you'll be fine. It's a very useful course - perhaps not in the practical sense, but you will at least gain a more intuitive understanding of statistics and aspects of economics.
