Entry-level TA role: MM desk vs Invest.mgmt team

Hi everyone!

Currently choosing between two trading support offers - first job post-grad:

One for a well-known MM sales team, the other one for a small EM team in an investment management firm.

The MM position has better benefits and is considered a front-office role, so it should be my obvious choice. But I am afraid I am underestimating the value of being on a small investment team: being exposed to the idea creation process/learning from PMs and traders, etc. It seems that people usually want to work on the buy-side at some point in their career, so wouldn't it be a fast-track option for me? I am a really curious person, so I want to do something that involves a lot of learning, but I believe that better money usually means better opportunities (could be wrong here obv). Would it make more sense to start at an investment bank and learn a bit first? Is the best option obvious here or am I missing something?
