Equity Research - A Project during the interview
Hi Guys,
I got a call from the company that I had an phone interview. I was selected for the second round interview and the person I talked told me that there would be a project on the second round.
I don't have any interview experience in Equity Research and just curious what would be the project in Equity research interview process.
Can somebody give me any insight about it? and let me know how to prepare for that?
The interview is going to be on the mid January.

Most likely will be a company analysis or investment thesis on a company. I interviewed with a fixed income team and they gave me all the materials from a recent private placement and asked that I perform an analysis and suggest whether or not I would invest in the bonds.
Company analysis or comparable analysis. Either way you'll be pitching buy/sell some security.
