Exploding Offer v JPM

So I just had a superday at JPM for their freshman/sophomore program yesterday, and on my way back, I received an exploding offer for a management consulting SA stint at a big 4. I have until Tuesday.

How long does it take to find out after the superday? I understand that HR doesn't work weekends, but could I expect a response on Monday/Tuesday? Is it customary for me to email JPM about the exploding offer? As you probably can tell, I would take JPM over the big 4 opportunity in a heartbeat, I just don't want to be stuck with nothing. I also don't want them to rush into a 'no' answer if I was halfway down their list and could've gotten an offer if some people declined.

Other than these two opportunities, I also have a final round for risk consulting at another big 4 in a couple of weeks, but that's about it.

You don't automatically lose OCR.. It's only if the Big 4 takes the time to call your career center and complain that you reneged your offer..

Email JPM. Call any recruiters you were in contact with. Explain all of the above, that you have an exploding offer, stand to lose your OCR privileges through your school's OCS, have absolutely no wiggle room with extensions, and are involved in recruiting with other firms beyond that.

You ought to get a decision Monday or early Tuesday. If they like you enough to bring you in with an offer it'll be sooner, if they have to weigh the decision, they'll take more time.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. A polite, clear email can do no harm, but sitting on your hands with your dick tucked between your legs will get you nowhere.
