Final Decision

I have FTOs from two banks right now. Both boutique and middle market.

One is a traditional bank with a full team doing like 10-15 deals a year. I’d come on a a true analyst.

The other is a small firm of just 5 seasoned veteran bankers (the founder is 80 and still works full time) and I’d come on with a lot more responsibility. They do 8-10 deals a year. They said they expect me to start sourcing deals and having a largely client facing role by year 2.

What would you do? It seems I’d gain way more experience at the second firm but the responsibilities sound a bit daunting.

Thoughts?
