Finance experience to consulting
Hi so I’m a sophomore target school student looking to apply to consulting. However, my resume only has had finance experience (two internships at PE firms and one at a small VC). While speaking with a family friend in consulting, they mentioned that some firms may question your interest in consulting and cut your resume before the interviews. Do you think mainly finance experience is really hat big a deal and what to do about this?
