Finance Jobs Without Significant Accounting?
Current IBD analyst - in my time, I've done a lot of pitchbooks, regulatory documents and other marketing documents, but very limited modeling outside of training. I'm looking into future options, and although I'm confident that PE and corp dev aren't for me, I'm trying to think of other paths that use both my full-time experience and play to my strengths (more STEM, less accounting).
Does anyone know of any people who started as banking analysts who jumped to very different areas of finance as analysts? Any stories or suggestions would help a lot.
