Finance Work Life in Atlanta?

I'll be frank - the grueling work life that's synonymous with NYC IB/PE firms is really unappealing to me. Even if they do offer the best exit ops and the most money, I'd still rather not go through the 90 hour work weeks and whatnot.

So, I decided to look around and found a couple of threads here that said that the firms in Atlanta were considerably better in terms of work hours and social life, though said threads are some years old now. I was wondering if any current or former Atlanta monkeys could chip in here - what is it like? Are the firms there really more lax or is it the same grind you'd find in NYC?
