Follow-up Again after Interview

I know it's case-by-case first of all...

I had my second round interview with a bank in New York City around mid July. I sent out thank you note with four interviewers right after the interview that day. And I followed up with HR last week and he said he needed to check with the department. I am not sure whether I should send another email to interviewers regarding any next steps. Three reasons: 1. They are both VP, MD level, and I assume they won't even spend time reading my mail. 2. I have heard the bank works extremely slow (culture, work, etc), so if I follow-up again could show too desperate? 3. During the interview, one of the interviewers said there are three candidates with better experience than me in terms of the fit of this position.

I have read lots of posts here but still need advice. Thanks to all for offering any suggestion.

Outside of following up on a weekly basis, I would recommend you move forward with other processes at this point.
