Following Up on a Call

Had a call last week that went great with someone at a small boutique firm that offered a term time internship position. They said to follow up with availabilities which I did so the next day in an email. They also said I may have to meet someone with HR just as a formality and to join the team. It's been a week and I haven't heard back yet- should I send up a follow up email or just let it rock and wait for them to email me back? Been kind of antsy about it.

I'd follow-up. But play it as you are doing them a favor by following up...my go-to is something along the lines of "Hey [xyz made up scenario] came up this week, but know we had talked about setting up a time for me to speak to [insert name / position]. Wanted to see if we could get something calendared so that a conflict doesn't pop up. Talk soon!"
