For people who broke into Strategic Partnerships, how did you get into it?
Specifically thinking of rollups / buy-and-build models that may need to interact with B2B vendors. Worked in a tech based company this past summer but realize it's a struggling / crowded industry. Didn't get exposure to deal negotiations but can imagine being an expert in this space would make someone an attractive hire for a company focused on growth while doing reasonable cost-containment (ie. private equity backed companies).
