FT Networking Before SA?
Hi everyone,
I'm sure there have been similar threads before but going to be interning with an EB in NY this summer. Of course want to try to secure the return offer but also want to network with people at some other firms for FT recruiting. Is it really frowned upon to do this a month before I start my SA stint? Any advice?

Same position as OP, but I would like to switch cities from SF to NY and stay at the bank and most likely my same group. Would it be unwise to try to start networking with ppl at my bank's NY office?

Its never a wrong time to network and learn from someone who has experience in the industry and provide you insights. Its all on how you position the networking calls. Never mention any desire for FT recruiting. You are student who just wants to learn more about the industry/advice.
