FT vs SA IB Interview

Undergrad senior here currently recruiting for IB for FT (in this market condition lol). I was wondering what kind of questions are asked for full-time roles compared to SA roles. I haven't gotten anything past hire vues so I am unsure of what to expect for the First Rounds/ Super days. I've heard that compared to SA they ask you to do some modeling, but am unsure. Any insights would be appreciated

Also any advice on beating hire-vues would be much appreciated, I think AI is just instantly filtering me.

I’d be familiar with the same guides from SA recruiting (accounting/ DCF/ valuation concepts/ M&A/ LBO/ Equity Value and Enterprise Value).

Also, make sure you’re familiar with the deals you worked on this past summer if you did an IB internship. Specifically, be able to talk about your role on the deal and then rationale / bigger picture too

Ngl if you haven’t made it past a hire vue yet this season for FT, you’re most definitely fucked and likely not going to land an offer. I’d def keep grinding but try and adjust your strategy (e.g. network harder). I’d also think of backup plans / other industries that will keep doors open and allow you to pivot to IB / buy-side or whatever you want to do down the road (grad school is an option, extending school, other industries, etc.). Hope it works out but just trying to help you manage expectations as this market is brutal.
