Full Time Recruiting - Final Stage: Interviews with MDs

Hi Guys,

I have heard that after an assessment center, some banks still have an interview round with the senior bankers of a department. Here it is often talked about that at the end of a Super Day there is still an MD interview - but a whole round with several MD's?

Has anyone had experience in such a round and can tell me a bit about what to expect?
Is there another strong selection in such an interview round, or is this round similar pro forma as after a Super Day?

Thank you for your answers and stories.

Have had super days where I spoke with MDs and even a sector head/partner before. Usually these are much more chill interviews and I actually had my favorite interviews with the most senior people. They don't even know technicals themselves anymore and are far enough removed from the junior banker seat that they just want to talk to you and see how your vibe is. I have usually talked about classes, sports, careers, or the banking industry on a high level to give you a flavor for topics. If the MD likes you, this can really pull weight, so make sure you come off as a chill enough person.
