Full Time Recruitment
I am an S&T intern who did not get the return offer. Headcount issues were a major headwind, only half of the interns were given offers. I want to work in markets, on the trading side ideally but even structuring would be great (I do not want to do sales). I come from a top target school studying finance and data science. My internships consist of mostly smaller buyside firms, aside from my European bank bulge bracket internship. Main issue is my GPA of 3.5.
Where do I look for new job postings? I see JPM is open, I applied, Wells Fargo, Citi, and Scotia all closed. How much of the process did I miss, and where can I look for an updating list of banks? I spent last night searching through dozens of career pages on bank websites and found barely anything, most are recruiting VPs an Directors not full time grads.
Should I be looking into any other tangential roles? I really enjoyed the summer in my role and want to stay in markets or soemthing adjacent. I would appreciate any and all advice here, be brutally honest
