Geopolitics + Finance Career Advice

Incoming freshman in college here. Interested in geopolitics, econ but also the start up and venture capital scene. I've done a lot of social science research and am working on a scalable product of my own.

Hope to work with venture capital firms, hedge funds, quantitative trading and maybe even political risk think tanks.

Confused what route to take and majors to explore. Right now I'm thinking Statistics and Economics, but I feel like I may miss out on some development skills, social science things (specifically in polisci), and am also worried ab rigor.

Not the worst at math, rather enjoy it actually. Have coding experience and worked with data cleaning, collecting, analysis etc.

Any majors/paths u guys can suggest? Possible activities to participate in? Thanks!

If it helps, I’m headed to Duke for the next four.
