Get A Job at FINRA

Hi all,

I am desperately trying to secure a job at FINRA as a Compliance Examiner or Regulatory Analyst. I have a JD and a BBA in Finance. I plan to get an MSF down the road. Does anyone have any ideas as to how best to secure a job at FINRA? FINRA employees or former employees especially, please help! Thanks.

Trying hard to get a job at this organization.

Thanks again!

PM me - A guy I watch football with on Sundays is the head of some compliance group at FINRA. I'll see if he will take a look at your resume. Also have a buddy who works there...

This office is based in Rockville, MD - just heads up.

Also why are you so interested in working there?

LateralJDHey if you had any luck I would be grateful for any advice. I am also a JD holder, but I have a B.A. in Philosophy and have been trying to break into FINRA or the SEC for months.
Look at the CFPB last I heard they're hiring like crazy.

I know this post has long since died but I was wondering whether anyone still had connections at FINRA. I am really looking to secure a job as a regulatory analyst and am an attorney with 2 years of investment company and compliance experience, licensed, and have a little previous regulatory experience. Any help would be much appreciated!

Depends on where you want to go. I just got hired as a Market Reg Analyst in DC, pretty easy and they are looking for a ton of people. Just be honest, they don't expect you to know the architecture of OTC trading and regulation. Totally dependent on the hiring manager, I interviewed with easy people and tough people. If you get the fixed income guys, make sure you can speak intelligently about bonds

My friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said "No", but I DO want a regular banana later so...yeah...
