Getting a raise

Been working at a MM boutique for the past 15 months on a part time basis (10-15 hours a week) whilst at college, and will likely do so until I graduate next summer. I’m paid on an hourly basis, but my wage is the same as it was when I started. To be frankly honest, I enjoy my job, I am grateful for the exposure and I am not really bothered about the money; however, it would feel good to know that my efforts are recognised by at least increasing my wage to a similar level of other part-time jobs. I have not spoken to my boss about this yet - does the WSO community have any advice as to whether 1) I should ask for a raise 2) If so, how to go about asking for a raise Many Thanks.
