Getting internship at Goldman
I have my first round interview for an internship at Goldman for the Internal Audit division. I have heard the hardest part of getting hired at Goldman is getting them to look at your resume. I have done that, so is my goal in the interview to basically live up to my resume and "not blow it"? Anyone have an idea of how many candidates they will accept vs how many interview? Thanks.
Not sure if it's the same for back offices. I went through the IBD and the securities recruiting last yr. It was like 90% behavioral and there were a few technical/brain teasers. I believe they gave offers to about 10% of the applicants who made to the final rounds.
you mean 10% of people that reached second round interviews? do you know if that is the same for all BBs. i would have guess that the percentage would be higher for people that reach second round interviews. maybe 10% is for people that reach first round interviews. franly i dont know, i am guessing. i hope you could give more details about those numbers.
