Go from IB to my dad's industry
So I am currently a Tech M&A IB Analyst. My dad is a senior executive in electronics manufacturing. I've long been exposed to the industry and through him have made connections to some C level execs in the industry. Honestly I like the industry and it would make my parents proud to continue to succeed in this space. I see strategic finance and corporate development as potential verticals I could get into with my IB background.
Should I instead just aim for more traditional Tech for career growth prospects. Would love to hear opinions.

Ofc not, he’s in the C-suite at a F500. I mean start on the same career track and work towards that
