Tbh you might be a little bit late to the game even for corp finance at a bank. If you can do a Masters in Finance at Vanderbilt or UVA in the states it'd def give you a better shot.

Vise versa if you have some crazy good connections start using them. It helps you are able to work in the U.S.

 

recruiting into the US out of a uk uni is gna be tough as hell, even if it’s LSE/Oxford Cambridge MPhil finance isn’t as good as the other two MFin). Since recruiting in the US works from OCR and networking it’s gna be tough but as a US citizen you can give it a go - although breaking into london and then moving to NYC is the straightforward path I imagine. Should also consider LBS since it’s likely stronger than LSE and maybe oxford too for the recruiting network.
