Going to BB IB/ER without IB/ER internship
Is it totally impossible to get into BB IB/ER with only PE, Big 4 Deal Advisory and management consulting internship?
It can be US and East Asia (i.e. Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan)
As long as the task is relevant to IB, it helps. Even if its an arms length away from M&A just market yourself well and its still possible.
I see people go IB full time from summer analyst so i just wonder
Yeah Finance Internship -> Summer IB Internship -> Fulltime IB is the most trodden path. Economy sucks rn and im sure there are a shit ton of laid off bankers right now trying to move around so itll be really hard to break in tbh.

Gonna be super hard to do ER because ER grad cohorts are tiny. And usually hire exclusively from the internship.
