Gone in less than a year
Hello primates. Today I would like to get the jungle's opinion on an issue that is clouding my mind. So a short story without giving me away. I work in the asset mgmt industry for trusts of a big bank (JPM/BAC/UBS). I have been there for approx 7 months and was unfortunate to be let go because I did not "fit" in. I also was out of school for roughly 4 years and in the work force within the asset mgmt industry ever since which made up 2 other jobs. My question is, can I spin my most recent role as a contractor position and make it look like it was the end of my assignment and therefore looking for new role? Or is the fact that I got let go going to show up on a background check? Thanks in advance.
How would you get let go from a BB in less than a year? They didn't even do a year-end performance review with you.
Wow, must have had a really tough time fitting in :(
Yes "fitting" in was tough...it was almost like they had some sort of grudge against me. I don't think I done anything that was overly wrong, just the regular mistakes someone new on the job may make. And to swap's point I was surprised myself. Any opinions on what I should do regarding my orig question? Thanks!
