Graduate role early start?

Starting a grad role in IB in July 2023 but have the chance to start early in March / April, thinking about the pros & cons of getting this 3 to 4 extra months experience before most of the grads in the class come back.

Can people who did an early start share their experience? Pros and cons would be great. I know a lot of people would say go travel etc but here I am more focussing on the job experience itself - does the 3 months gives you an advantage among the class or do you not feel part of the grad class since you've started earlier etc?

Thanks
