Graduated highschool early and want to get into investment banking.

Hi, just graduated highschool a year early. I've been thinking about either going to college for computer science or buisness. I would like to get into high finance and have been leaning more towards the buisness route. I'm not a very technical person and math isn't my strong suite at all. I would like to try my hand at IB even if it's only for 2 years. What can I do now to prepare myself?

Do an econ degree and try to minor in something that could help diversify your skill-set, like comp-sci. You’ll have to be comfortable with math and think quantitatively if you want to do well in high finance. It’s not that corporate finance has calculus in it (for the most part), it’s that it requires a lot of quantitative logic, which you can develop in classes that make you think through quantitative problems.

Whatever you do, don’t graduate college early.
