GS quant role vs JPM quant role. Which one should I choose?
JPM quant role appears closer to FO type work whereas GS role seems more relevant to corp finance. The former makes more sense right ? if I intend to switch to buyside?
Do you want to work in Mumbai? Is the Goldman Strat role in NYC?
NYC office > Mumbai office for prestige, career opportunities, networking, $$$.
Unless the JPM role is very attractive to you, and you are indifferent between Mumbai/NYC, I would take the GS role because of the above. I would imagine it is much easier to switch jobs (more job openings, more companies) in NYC.

The JPM role sounds closer to FO, so I would take that over the GS role (sounds more MO).
